Phone interview

Once you’ve applied either online or submitted an application at our main office location for the position that you are interested in, you will be contacted by phone. Phone interviews are conducted by our Human Resource Manger and last about 10-15 minutes. The phone interview will be an opportunity to visit with you and discuss your skills and the position you applied for in greater detail.

Onsite interview

During your on-site interview, you’ll meet with our Human Resource Manager who will give a view of life at Cardinal of Minnesota, Ltd. Your interviewer will ask you questions related to your area of interest and evaluate your skills, knowledge and abilities. Remember, it's not a question of getting the answer right or wrong, but the process in which you use to solve it. Creativity it important.

Hire by a team

Virtually every person who interviews at Cardinal of Minnesota, Ltd. talks to at least three interviewers, drawn from both Management and Residential Supervisors. You may be asked to visit the worksite that you are being considered for to meet clients, co-workers, and get a ‘feel’ for our culture. Everyone's opinion counts, ensuring our hiring process is fair while maintaining high standards as we grow. Yes, it takes longer, but we believe it's worth it. If you actively involve applicants in the hiring process, you’ll get more great people. We started building this positive feedback loop when the company was founded, and it has had a huge payoff.

What happens next

Following your interviews, we will decide if you are qualified and suitable for the job opening. We take hiring very seriously and like to make consensus-based decisions. For this reason, it can take up to two weeks for us to make a definitive decision as to whether we'd like to have you join the team.
