Years ago, Forestview started a holiday tradition for the 4^th of July. Clients and staff would gather on Main Street at former DSp Tonya’s house. While there, clients would enjoy good food and the parade. Overtime, Tonya ventured off to become her own Supervisor at Valley Crest. Tonya also said good-bye to her little humble abode and moved to the country. In the meantime, Kim (a Forestview DSp) purchased Tonya’s house. The 4^th of July gatherings continued. Kim recently stepped up the ladder and became the RS at Rocky Creek in Rochester. 2020 was a rough year and events were put on halt. 2021 was another story! The gathering has grown over the years. This year, not only Forestview, but also Valley Crest and Rocky Creek joined in on the festivities. July 4^th was indeed a family event at Kim’s house. Clients, staff, and families gathered to celebrate our independence! At Cardinal we are all about family! Thank you for continuing to include Forestview!
